you need the terminal for getting rid of the 3D:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES; killall Dock

found it at ShaunInman .

btw.: if you want that as an on/off switch: there is an app at eternal storms, called 2DOrNot2D.

The Jack is back

All the good stuff goes intel. One of my favorite System Utilities/Tools is updated (finally). So I can use it on my (new) Intel iMac: AppleJack. Still a «Release Candidate» (1.4.3rc3) — but it works so far on my machine without a hitch. I’m happy again. Over and out. Back to work.
